Sadly, although it seemed quite sterotypical at the time, the characters and their traits still exist in schools and most like always will. Is it wrong that now that I am older and actually in education that Vernon seems a tad bit more of a sympathetic character than first thought? "Hitch" is the only other movie I have seen on this list. Fun, cute movie. I just read that Will Smith wants to remake "Flowers for Algernon" originally made in 1968 with Cliff Robertson.
